Brett took an interest in playing guitar and singing at age 14. Since that time, 31 years later, he has played in seven bands, two of which were rock bands and the other five were country. While a member of; Southern Impact, Exit-Ten, Aiken Hearts, and Six-Pak Brett played rhythm guitar, performed as a lead vocalist, and background vocalist. With acoustic guitar being his primary instrument, he has developed a strong rhythm and finger picking style. He is also well known in the central New York area as a lead vocalist in the country music field.
